This short video documents a performance piece that was conducted in 2012. The resulting video is one component in a larger installation that integrates video, performance and architectural sculpture. This piece depicts the artist, dressed as a labourer as he goes through the steps of hauling material up four flights of stairs, plastering a ceiling, and cleaning up after the job. The repetitive nature of the labour depicted, coupled with the looping of the video, draw a parallel to the absurdity of the repetitive labour of the Greek myth of Sisyphus.
