Bio

Born in Prince Edward Island in a geodesic dome and raised in Ottawa, ON by his artist mother and architect turned economist father, Seth is one of six children, most of whom are also practicing artists. Seth moved to Winnipeg in 2003 where he studied fine art at the University of Manitoba, graduating with his BFA in 2009.   Seth is an interdisciplinary artist working in a variety of media including painting, drawing, video, performance, and installation.  He works toward creating dialogue between the artist and the tradesman by exploring thoughts on work, domesticity, masculinity, and sacred space. He currently lives in Winnipeg, working as an artist, art educator, and restoring ornamental plaster.
