Hello!

My name is Stephanie Poruchnyk-Butler, and I’m the Digital Programming Intern at VUCAVU, a role funded by IMAA's Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) program, funded by the Government of Canada

Part of my work in this role has involved researching different tools and frameworks to support digital accessibility in the film, video and media arts sector. During my research, I have discovered plenty of fantastic projects that have inspired me to help meet access needs in fresh, creative and relevant ways. I want to share some of my findings with the larger VUCAVU community in hopes that they inspire you as well! Below, you will find several pages to explore. Accessibility on VUCAVU.com will give you information and tools to help you navigate the site and its content. Accessibility Resources is an evolving list of projects, articles and podcasts created by D/disabled creatives that relate to visual and moving image art.

We recognize that this work is ongoing and we welcome feedback of all kinds. If you have any comments or questions, please reach out to Stephanie Poruchnyk-Butler at programming@vucavu.com

VUCAVU thanks the following organizations for their support.
