Beaucage chronicles a year in the life of the Innu as they examine the impact of the Voisey’s Bay Nickel Mine on the land and people. Beaucage states, "For the last thirty years we have seen the Innu from outside eyes. This community-based research project is from within. It is a document of the present Innu reality that includes the past and the future .... a living history."
