Some sixty five years ago, a mister Flintabattey Flonatin, Flin Flon for short, built himself a submarine to explore a lake in northern Manitoba that had no bottom. But it wasn't bottomless at all. Flin Flon found the Sunless City, a town of ten thousand people built of gold and silver. He had many adventures in this strange place before escaping back to the Earth's surface, leaving the gold behind.
