Synopsis

Shuffle examines the role electronic connectivity and electronic signals play in human perception. Static electricity is used as a metaphor to show the feedback loop between the material body and the material world. this static charge describes perception in the act of transference occuring in the space between two bodies. Shuffle is a captured single channel work of a real time video manipulation. The amplitude of the accompanying audio track controls the offset and zoom of the video. As the audio track runs the video moves in a random matter on the screen.
