Bio

Erika Lincoln is an artist working in electronic media. She uses elements of confusion, disorientation, and uncanny sense-impressions arising from our interactions with technological mediations and simulations to challenge and reorder perceptions and memories. Lincoln's work takes many forms such as responsive installation, kinetic sculpture, and sound and video.  Since graduating with Honours from the University of Manitoba her work has shown in galleries and festivals across Canada and Europe.  Lincoln has been awarded grants from both Manitoba Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts.  She has participated in residencies at the Banff Centre for the Arts and Video Pool Media Arts Centre.
