    The video uses heat to distort an image of a prairie landscape encroached upon by an expanding urban centre. The orchestra of field recordings and combination with the abstracted landscapes of this work reflects the uncertainty and change of a land caught between use and abuse.

    Visual and aural conflict constitute a landscape of anxiety. The uneasy frozen ground as projection of a phenomenology of distress. An experimental live-action depiction of the conflicted and uncertain psychology of the artist in a derelict, hostile landscape illuminated by a lonely bonfire.
