Synopsis

Francophone-hybride is a short documentary that was shot in Winnipeg during the Festival du voyageur, an annual winter festival which celebrates Manitoba’s Metis, Francophone and First Nations heritage. Through personal anecdotes and stories from members of the community, this film explores ideas about culture, language, history and adaptation.
