Over the course of thirteen minutes -- never long enough for an actual yoga session, yet somehow exceedingly uncomfortably long for the viewing audience -- The Yogi documents a performance in which the artist assumes the role of a "Yogi Master". In an attempt to fulfill an imagined cultural skillset, the work follows the artist struggle through several yoga poses clad in an all-white cumbersome ensemble, while being instructed in both English and French through such poses as: “Triangle/Trikonasana", “Front Stretch Touch Toes/Paschimottanasana", and "Cow Face/Gomukhasana”.
