What does the globalized world look like? The word globalization has become a common term in our vocabulary but the notion of a growing borderless, united world is at odds with a global reality. This film essay questions the increasingly porous binaries of East/West, urban/rural, local/transnational, as well as new media, communication technologies, virtual worlds, non-places and daily life.
