NIMAC PRESENTS THE ONLINE EXHIBITION

WE COME TOGETHER

We Come Together is the culmination of work done by Winona Bearshield, Glenn Gear, Kaya Joan and  Peter Morin. Each of the artists have been working since fall of 2021 on new commissioned work. Winona, Glenn, Kaya and Peter each took on this commission from their own perspective, and mediums they work in or wished to learn more about. They worked separately and are now coming together for an online exhibition from May to July, 2022.

Exhibitions will be three weeks for each artist over the next few months at VUCAVU.com and are accessible for free on VUCAVU.com and will be available to the public for free. These online exhibitions will include the commissioned work, essay, responses from community and some glimpses into the artists’ process of making.

NIMAC has so much gratitude for our Indigenous Media Art community and the work they do. It is thrilling to be able to celebrate a small part of that community through this exhibition and these commissions.
