Not all that is buried is forgotten. For over twenty years the Taddeo family locked away memories of life with their father in the basement, unable to cope with the trauma of his death. A few years ago, Tamara Taddeo excavated the Super 8 home movies and watched them. This sudden reawakening flooded her with memories and unsettled emotions, often fleeting and ambiguous, centering on her father’s unresolved murder. Tamara made this film in order to remember her father and to cleanse an old wound.
