In a Montreal high school, 9 young students with atypical paths are brought together around a drama-therapy project which aims at providing a voice to marginalized groups. In the course of their meetings, questions unfold around the curious institution that is the "polyvalente" or public high school. The film use realism to discuss the taboos and the difficulties encountered by youth who are marked by the violence of the world. Searches for meaning, drugs, mental health, performance issues, social critiques, freedom, and radicalism... these young people open up through theatre and claim ownership over their words and their space, thus shattering the stereotypes usually tied to adolescence.
