Synopsis

God's Eyes immerses its audience in both the narrative of the film and the story of its production, an experience the director reflects on when he premises the film with the question: “Can we as viewers watch a film, while constantly being aware that what we're watching is a film?”. God's Eyes presents a situation in which a group of untrained actors are given open-ended tasks. The director of the film takes you through his unconventional process of constructing dramatic situations in which his actors and crew must instinctually react, providing for a real performance in a fictional setting. Kate Noble, a young arts student encounters Steve Saunders, a local semi-professional actor in a public park amidst locals and tourists. The two individuals are sent to the park separately, unaware of the other's involvement in the production. Their encounter leads them to suspect one another of being in the same film.
