Rendezvous with Madness Festival is the first and largest arts and mental health festival in the world. Using art as the entry point to illuminate and investigate the realities and mythologies surrounding mental health and addiction issues, Rendezvous With Madness’ 2020 programming spotlights the human capacity for endurance in the face of great challenges. As community members are feeling the emotional effects of months of isolation, income precarity, and anxiety over what the future holds, the Rendezvous With Madness Festival offers a unique opportunity to come together in reflection and discussion.
We are thrilled to announce the full programming line-up for the 28th annual Rendezvous With Madness. The Festival runs October 15-25, 2020 and showcases a range of feature and short films from around the globe, as well as Re:Building Resilience, an exhibition that is taking over the entire Workman Arts building at 651 Dufferin Street in Toronto featuring visual, media and performance art installations. All tickets are Pay What You Wish (PWYW) and there will be both in-person and virtual options for engaging with the festival, so all patrons can enjoy the festival safely.
Rendezvous is thrilled to be partnering with VUCAVU for the first time to present two free short film programs from October 13-27, 2020 along with two panel discussions. We hope you enjoy the programs!
