Bio
Wayne Yung was born in 1971 in Edmonton, Canada and was an active member of Video In Studios (now VIVO Media Arts Centre) throughout the 1990s. As a writer, curator, performer and video artist, he explores issues of race and identity from a queer Chinese-Canadian point of view. Since his first video release in 1994, his work has screened around the world. He has lived in Vancouver, Hong Kong, Berlin, Cologne and is now based in Berlin.
