    Bio

Women In Focus Society (WIFS) (1974-1992) was originally created as a project of the University of British Columbia’s Women’s Office Collective. WIF trained women in audio-visual production and created a community cable series that covered a broad range of topics reflecting women’s experiences and contemporary feminist discourse. They are noted for being Vancouver’s first feminist media access centre for women only.
