Louise Vandelac is a professor at UQAM's department of sociology. Over the years, she has been involved in a number of complex and controversial public policy issues. She appears frequently on the media as an expert witness. Her research focuses on women's work and the ethics of new reproductive technologies. She is currently handling the water privatization issue in Quebec.
