Bio
After studing media arts at Vancouver's Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design and communications at the Université du Québec à Montréal, Karine codirected her first medium-length film, shot in an indigenous community in Mexico. Since then she has contributed to several documentary films, working variously as DOP, director and producer. Her work draws its inspiration in communities here and abroad, and explores the themes of cultural encounters and transformation.
