Bio

Jennifer Stillwell is a visual artist who primarily works in sculpture, installation and video. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2000 and her BFA from the University of Manitoba in 1995. Stillwell has created large-scale installations at Triple Candie (New York) and the Darling Foundry (Montreal) and solo exhibitions at YYZ Artists’ Outlet (Toronto) and Plug In ICA (Winnipeg). In the last few years she has been part of group exhibitions and screenings in Canada, the United States and Europe. A longtime Winnipegger she relocated to Vancouver Island in 2012 where she is an Associate Professor of Visual Arts at the University of Victoria.
