Bio
Evelyn Roth is a multi-media community artist specializing in fabric sculptures, wearable art and outdoor festivals. Born in Canada in 1936, she spent her formative years in Vancouver as part of a multi-media group focusing on dance and new media arts. In 1990 she set up the Evelyn Roth Celebration Centre in Point Roberts, Washington, USA (which includes artist studios, an art gallery and performance space). In 1996 Roth received Australian residency under the distinguished talent category and set up her present studio at Maslin Beach, near Adelaide. She is married to Australian artist John Davis.
