Bio
Melva McLean is an award-winning screenwriter. Among her awards are: Best Drama, Praxis Screenwriting Award (Vancouver), Best Crime Drama, Action on Film (Los Angeles) and Best Family Film, Moondance (New York (with Bonnie Gibson).
Mel is a member of The Editors' Association of Canada, The Winnipeg Film Group, OnScreen Manitoba, and the Manitoba Editors' Association. She sits on the board of ACI, Manitoba and is the leader of the Re-branding Task force for the Editors' Association of Canada.
