Experienced filmmaker and camerawoman, Ève Lamont is a free spirit digging into the heart of usually hidden social realities. Her first documentay Des squatteureuses (1988) portrays squatter women in Europe. She produced and realized several short and mid-length features about outcasts’ resistance and inventiveness. Later she made feature documentaries, including Méchante job (2001), Squat! (2003), Pas de pays sans paysans (2005), L’imposture (2010) and Le commerce du sexe (2015). All her films have been widely distributed and have earned a warm welcome from the public. Through her continued, engaged video practice, she keeps promoting reflexions and debates in the public sphere.
