Bio

Born in 1976 to Latin American parents, Katherine Jerkovic grew up in Belgium and Uruguay. At 18, she settled in Montréal where she studied cinema (Concordia University). She has since directed and produced many short fiction and experimental films that have been screened in a variety of venues, including the Festival du film sur l’art de Montréal, the Images Festival (Toronto), the Anthology Film Archives (New York) and the Cinéma du Québec à Paris.

Edgar, a lonely, socially awkward immigrant takes care of an apartment for a friend away on vacation. As he visits, he becomes familiar with the absent woman’s intimate space. He begins to desire her and anticipate her return. The months go by, the mail piles up and eventually, reality sinks in.
