Bio
Kate Johnston is a writer/director/producer and the owner of TomGirl Films (www.tomgirlfilms.com).She was associate-producer on the award-winning feature MARGARITA by Dominique Cardona and Laurie Colbert. She is a producer on Christine Chew's short film SLOW BURN which has been screened internationally at festivals around the world. Kate is also a producer of Christine Chew's film CLICK which will be screened at the 2013 Frameline Festival and at OutFest. She has written, directed and produced her own short film STORMCLOUD which was screened at Inside Out Festival 2013 and is now on the festival circuit. Kate is completing post on her first feature film TRU LOVE which she co-wrote, produced and directed.
