Bio

INFLATABLE DEITIES creates expanded fictions which unfold across the mediums of video, installation, and performance. We often make work about nightmarish situations drawn from childhood memories, dreams, and political events, incorporating a cast of characters developed through improvised performance with surrealist assemblage costumes. These characters morph and reappear across multiple works, constituting an expanded mythology unique to our collaboration. We’ve exhibited in galleries and performed at festivals across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
