Bio
Vern Hume has worked at the Banff Centre for the Arts, at EM/Media, an artist-run video access centre in Calgary, and was a founding member of Winnipeg’s Video Pool. He is co-founder and current co-director of a nonprofit educational and cultural organization, The Chameleon Media Arts Institute, that is involved in interactive media. Hume’s video art is exhibited in North America and Europe and can be found in collections such as the National Gallery of Canada, The Canada Council Art Bank and the Museum of Modern Art.
