Michèle Gauthier has a degree in film studies from the Université de Montréal She received the best film award from the University for her short film Humeur Latente in 2005. In 2007 she studied film direction at the Institut de l’Image et du Son (INIS) in Montréal. Since then, she directed videoclips, publicities, web series andis currently directing for the television. The Party, her last short, for which she received two artisitic grants (for writing and directing) is produced by By-Pass Films
