Sophie Fortier was born in an agricultural village no bigger than a handkerchief. Her childhood was rocked by marmot hunting, BMX treks and Bazooka gum. As a child, she dreamed of writing and traveling the world, fascinated by all those humans living in parallel. Today, she is a director and screenwriter for television and cinema. His latest documentary film is Exile in the Wild West. She likes to say that she knits all her projects by hand with the meticulousness of a watchmaker.
