Bio
Video artist and filmmaker Yanie Dupont-Hébert combs the planet and its cultures in search of life and inspiration. She works in communications (radio, television, journalism), both in front of and behind the camera and mike. She makes both documentary and fiction works. Besides being active in the Kino movement, she sits on the board of Kino Montreal and previously co-managed Kino Paris. She has also been a guest artist with the art collective Farine Orpheline Cherche Ailleurs Meilleur in addition to being a director of photography, screenwriter and actress. She divides her time between Montreal, Paris and the world!
