Bio
Lawrence is a filmmaker, screenwriter and director of photography. She is currently in post-production for her first feature film, Écartée. She is also the recipient of a SODEC scriptwriting, research and development grant for a first feature documentary supported by the CBC. Three of her short films are currently screening in various festivals. She is also developing a new TV show concept. A Kino movement member for the past 10 years, she has made some 40 independent works (fiction, documentaries, essays) in Quebec, France and Belgium. She has won a number of prizes and awards in various video festivals and competitions since 2006.
