Bio
Daphne Cyr is a cultural mediator, youth programmer and videographer. She combined film studies at CEGEP Saint-Laurent with UQAM's leisure studies and cultural research program so that she could teach multimedia creation to underprivileged populations. She develops projects with non-professionals aimed at giving them a voice in the broader public sphere. In 2006, as part of the Festival du nouveau cinéma, she set up the P'tits Loups film camp that gives children from disadvantaged backgrounds a chance to express themselves through film.
