Alan Collins is a producer director living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He began his career as a film editor and has edited 14 feature films including The Brood directed by David Cronenberg and the TV Series Degrassi Junior High. He taught Film at Ryerson University in Toronto before moving to Nova Scotia. In 2013 he produced his first feature film Relative Happiness a comedy set in Cape Breton, based on the best selling novel by Lesley Crewe.
