Bio
Marian Butler is known for her work as an interdisciplinary artist, curator and cultural worker. She made Winnipeg her home fifteen years ago when the Royal Winnipeg Ballet hired her as their Tour Marketing Manager. Butler later went on to study at the University of Manitoba's School of Art, followed by employment with the Winnipeg Film Group, CBC Radio, Video Pool, Platform (formerly known as the Floating Gallery), Ace Art, and six and a half years as Mentoring Artists for Women's Art's Executive Director. Currently Butler works for the Manitoba Arts Council as the Program Consultant in Visual Arts.
