Saskatchewan Home Movies: Call for Submissions

“PAVED Arts at Home” Open Call for Submissions: “Saskatchewan Home Movies”
Submission Deadline: Friday, May 22nd at 6pm

Presented by PAVED Arts and VUCAVU

PAVED Arts is looking for submissions of short video works, up to 15 minutes long. Submissions may be deal with any subject matter so long as the work is made in Saskatchewan, independent, and is artist-controlled content.

Submissions to “Saskatchewan Home Movies” will be included in an online screening on VUCAVU and will also be considered for distribution by PAVED Arts on VUCAVU.

This call is open to all artists in Saskatchewan who are a PAVED Arts member in good standing, although members’ dues can be deducted from the $150.00 artist fee for selected works if the applicant is not presently a member.

>  Submissions to PAVED Arts may be delivered via WeTransfer (https://wetransfer.com/ free up to 2Gb) or by a Vimeo or YouTube link.
>  Video files should be encoded using an H.264 codec (compression) with ACC audio.
>  Please include a title and brief synopsis/description of your film/video project (25-50 words in length).
>  Please address all questions and submissions to David LaRiviere, Artistic Director at PAVED Arts by email at artistic@pavedarts.ca

Selected works will be included in a curated program on VUCAVU that will be featured on the platform from two weeks, from June 12 – 26, 2020.

A “Watch Party” (online public launch) for the “Saskatchewan Home Movies” program will be staged on Friday, June 12th at 7pm. More details TBA.


Licensing/Screening Artist fees paid: $150/video for a 2 week spotlight on VUCAVU.
