We are pleased to announce VUCAVU's new digital literacy outreach initiative that will take us to places across the country in 2019-2020 to meet and discuss with artists and media art communities of all kinds. With a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts, VUCAVU's Community and Program Manager, Jacquelyn Hébert will be presenting workshops for people who want to learn more about VUCAVU, digital distribution opportunities and ways to utilize digital tools.

The 1st workshop will be held in North Bay on June 13th from 3:30-4:30pm as part of the COLD WATERS SYMPOSIUM & FESTIVAL presented by MANO-RAMO and the Near North Mobile Media Lab.

Then, from June 14th - 17th, we will be in Halifax for two presentations and to participate in the 13th annual HALIFAX INDEPENT FILMMAKERS FESTIVAL (HIFF).

The first presentation, hosted by HIFF as part of their 2019 distribution initiative, is happening on

Saturday, June 15th from 12:45-1:45pm
the Halifax Central Library,
BMO Community Room.
