Bio

Elise Simard is an animation director and visual effects artisan. She has contributed to the visual signatures of numerous documentary features and animated shorts, and enjoys collaborations with amazing filmmakers and artists. Her filmography includes the tiny musical Breakfast (2013), produced while in residency at the Aberystwyth Art Center in Wales, and My Little Underground, a National film Board of Canada production, where she often takes part in stimulating projects and research.

Boy and his rabbit embark upon a voyage into the night. On a music by Debussy, "The Crossing" is inspired by the anguishes that sometimes occurs at night, and that vanishes once morning comes.
