Amy has been involved in the film industry for over 10 years, enjoying every aspect of sharing stories. With two documentaries and several short films under her belt, Simoes was awarded a ‘Women in Media Foundation Award’ from the National Screen Institute, ‘Documentary of the Year’ from the Creative Communications Media Awards, and the ‘Best Editing’ from the UWinnipeg Film Fest. Simoes believes it’s important to produce quality work that expands new perspectives.
