Bio
Renée Lavaillante is dedicated to the practice of drawing : autonomous drawings, installations, in situ, books. She has presented solo exhibitions in Quebec, France, Italy and Korea, and participated in group exhibitions in Canada, Britain and Belgium. She received artist residencies abroad, particularly the Quebec Studio in Rome in 2005. Her works are part of several public and private collections. Le dessin chercheur is her first video.
