Bio
Anabelle Lavoie is an independent filmmaker based in Quebec City. Her short film An Afternoon with Paolo (Un après-midi avec Paolo) received the MICHEL TRUDEL grant from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema, as well as the JURY PRIZE in the student category at the Montreal World Film Festival in 2014. In 2016, Anabelle participated in the Pan-Canadian Regional Film Competition, where her short film Selfitis was nominated for BEST DIRECTOR. She works primarily in documentary and fiction.
