Bio

Patricia Gruben grew up in Texas, studied anthropology at Rice University and attended graduate school in film at the University of Texas, where she made several short films.  In 1972 she moved to Toronto and began working as a set decorator and art director for feature films and television.
From 1975-77 she worked at TVOntario and as a  writer, camera assistant and production manager on various independent films. Gruben returned to experimental work in 1977 and made her first feature film, “Low Visibility.” Among her credits are ten feature films.
