Bio

Kagan Goh was born in Singapore in 1969. After years of traveling, he emigrated with his family to Canada in 1986 and now resides in Vancouver. He is an award-winning filmaker, published author, spoken word artist, journalist and mental health activist. He studied film at Ryerson University in Toronto. His controversial documentary film “Mind Fuck” (1996) about the phone sex industry won several awards at prestigious film festivals internationally. “Stolen Memories” (2012), his first independent production, is a documentary about the filmmaker’s personal quest to return a photo album that was “stolen” during the Japanese internment to its rightful owners.
