Bio
Raised in Lac Saint-Jean, painter and video maker Martin Bureau lives and works in Saint-Jean-de-l'île-d'Orléans. For over a decade now, his paintings and video installations have exhibited widely at venues and events that include the Bienal de Video y Nuevos Medios (Santiago, Chile), Galerie Lacerte Art Contemporain (Quebec City/Montreal), L'Oeil de poisson and Manif d’art 2 (Quebec City), Galerie Orange (Montréal) and the Drabinsky and Lonsdale galleries in Toronto. His works feature in numerous public and private collections. Une tente sur Mars, co-directed with Luc Renaud, is his first documentary.
