Bio
Renée Amber is an improviser, writer, actor and filmmaker. Her original work has been commissioned by theatres such as Alberta Theatre Projects (PlayRite's Festival of New Canadian Plays; Le Gros Spectacle), and Ground Zero Theatre (PARANOiA). She is a sketch comedy writer (Cowtown; Nur Films/Telus Optik), and has performed in festivals and stages across Canada, including her own weekly late-night comedy show, Past Your Bedtime in Calgary, AB. She is known for her work as co-creator in a new genre of theatre that blends improvisation, comedy, audience participation and traditional theatre (Blind Date, Legend Has It).
