Federico Adorno (b. 1982, Paraguay) studied Communication Sciences and Theatre Direction at the University of Asunción. In 2012, Adorno took part in the 10th Berlinale Talent Campus. His short film Isla Alta (2011) won the Grand Prize at the 2012 International Competition at Winterthur in Switzerland and screened internationally in places such as Rotterdam, Oberhausen, Vila do Conde, Tokyo, and Sao Paulo, among others. Adorno’s most recent short film, La Estancia (2014), had its world premiere at the 60th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, where it won the Grand Prize of the City of Oberhausen.
