VUCAVU is a filmmaker-supported distribution platform that offers over 45 years of Canadian film and video art.
We pay filmmakers and video artists directly for showing their works - even when we are offering programs to the public for free!
Our work with our partner organizations supports the preservation and overall continued accessibility of the works in our catalogue, many of which would otherwise be in peril of being lost.
Our unique platform provides rural and remote Canadian communities easy access to works that are normally only available in large urban centres, spreading access to Canada’s cinematic culture across Canada, as well as the world.
VUCAVU is a non-profit organization working to support Canada’s independent filmmakers and video artists.
