Bio
Miriam Needoba is an artist and filmmaker based in Nelson, British Columbia. She graduated from Emily Carr University in 2001 and is currently the director of Small Town Films Inc. She has attended programs at the Banff New Media Institute, the Berlinale Talent Campus and was one of the 2009 participants at the Astral Media Emerging Documentary Filmmakers Scholarship Program at Hot Docs in Toronto. Needoba’s experimental films, videos and new media works have been screened and exhibited nationally and internationally.
