Bio

Jonathan Ball is a writer and filmmaker living in Calgary, Alberta. His journalism includes interviews with Guy Maddin, Mark McKinney, and former Pixies musician Frank Black. He is the author of the weekly humour column “Haiku Horoscopes.”  At the current time, Ball is enrolled in PhD studies at the University of Calgary, writing a novel called Kanada, and finishing numerous film projects. Spoony B is his first film as director.
