Harlyn Weijs is a visual artist born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Exposing life's simplicities and complexities is the impetus for her creative endeavors. The highly personal nature of Weijs's work is revealed as she examines personal relationships, investigates her notion of home, or simply responds to the spirited moments of the everyday. While her medium of choice is video, Weijs continues to work with a wide range of mediums such as assemblage, performance, social sculpture, writing and audio.
